Community campaigner Lucy Allan was presented with an award from the Georgia Williams Trust this weekend thanking her for her contribution to the charity following her “Inspiring Women” business lunch. 

Lucy Allan, the parliamentary candidate for Telford, visited the brand new state-of-the-art women and children’s unit at the Princess Royal Hospital.

Lucy took part in a recent ITV documentary about the child protection system. After it aired, Lucy was overwhelmed with the response received from families and professionals, expressing concerns about the system. She has now sought a meeting with the Secretary of State, Nicky Morgan, to discuss these concerns.
