Lucy backs a campaign to protect green space in the Borough and calls for an end to the 'planning free for all.'
Lucy Allan gave her support to a campaign launched by Mark Pritchard MP calling for green space in the borough to be protected and excessive over development curbed.
Refering to a recent article in the Shropshire Star here, where it was said that 18,500 new homes were planned, Lucy said: "Housing development is good for business, jobs and growth, however, it must be executed sensitively and at a measured pace. Full consideration must be given to the needs of existing residents. Development must be matched by infrastructure improvements such as new schools, healthcare facilities, transport links and broadband access."
"Telford's green spaces make Telford an attractive place to live and work. These spaces must be protected."
