Our future healthcare - Future Fit
It’s really important that people have a say on this key issue. Please return the MP survey or sign the petition to show support. Thanks to the thousands of constituents who have already responded.
It’s been four long years – and cost millions of pounds. People are being kept in the dark and not surprising they fear the worst.
Some of my constituents have told me they fear we could lose 24 hour walk in A&E and the Women and Children’s centre at the PRH.
The local Health Board overseeing the Future Fit process has told the newspapers this is not happening, but its now time to tell my constituents.
The Council must improve its relationship with the local Health Board and work with the local clinicians and decision makers, to influence the process in a more positive way for Telford. The Council has been a Future Fit partner from the beginning. It represent us in this process.
Residents want to know why they have not been involved and why they do not know what is happening. The longer the process takes the more it costs the taxpayer and the more anxiety it creates. What is the Council doing to get accurate information to residents and speed the process up?
Please Telford & Wrekin Council join me in pressing the Health Board to start their consultation with residents now so Telford's voice can be heard.
