In her first formal engagement as MP for Telford Lucy Allan attended and supported a family fun day and football match in aid of Hope for HH (Hypothalamia Harmatomas), a rare brain condition.
Lucy has been invited to be a patron of the Telford based charity.
Carrie Fulcher, the charity’s Ambassador for Hope, said: “I wanted to bring together fellow sufferers so that they do not feel isolated or stigmatised by this condition. I also want to raise awareness of HH so that clinicians can more easily diagnose it and ensure sufferers receive the appropriate treatment.”
Lucy Allan said: “I am delight to support Carrie in her efforts to ensure that fellow sufferers receive a prompt diagnosis and appropriate treatment. Carrie has worked incredibly hard to ensure that others benefit from her distressing and difficult situation, where the condition was not identified.”
