Lucy Allan MP will be marking the sacrifice and service of the fallen at Telford Town Park on Sunday 8th November. Lucy will be joining other community representatives to lay a wreath at the Town Park Memorial. The service will start with a procession led by 1st Randlay Scouts, leaving Meeting Point House at 10:30am next Sunday.
Lucy Allan said: "I am honoured to take part in this service in Telford Town Park next Sunday. It is important that we always remember the sacrifice and service of others, who died for our freedom and our future. It is always a day on which to be proud of our country and the heroism of our servicemen and women.
At 2:30pm on Sunday 8th November, Lucy will be laying a wreath at the Aqueduct Bridge, with the Friends of Aqueduct Bridge and attending the Annual Festival of Remembrance at Oakengates in the evening at 8:00pm. On Wednesday 11th November at 11:00am, Lucy be will paying her respects at the Ironbridge War Memorial and laying a wreath at service organised by the Royal British Legion.
