Telford’s MP is urging as many residents as possible to attend a drop-in to find out more information about the future of the Princess Royal Hospital.
The drop-in forms part of a public consultation about a new model of care and proposed options to change the hospital services provided at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and the Princess Royal Hospital.
On hand will be NHS doctors, nurses and healthcare staff who will be able to provide more information about the proposed service changes and answer any questions.
The drop-in is taking place on Wednesday 29th August between 4.00-7.00pm at Park Lane Centre, Woodside, Telford, TF8 5QZ.
Lucy Allan said:
“I urge residents in Telford to attend this drop-in to get more information about the proposed changes that are planned for our hospital.
“It is vitally important that the public engage with this local process and response to the public consultation to put their views forward.
“I have already responded to express my concerns and put forward my view that Option 2 best meets the needs of Telford residents today and in future.”
