Today in Parliament, Lucy Allan MP asked the Post Office Minister to ensure that compensation is awarded to all victims of the Post Office Horizon Scandal, including the 555 sub Postmasters that were party to the original litigation against the Post Office which ended in 2019.

The Minister confirmed that the Government is committed to delivering justice for those affected by this gross miscarriage of justice and that he will continue to work with the Post Office throughout the compensation process.

Lucy also welcomed the announcement that the legal proceedings against the Post Office will be subject to an independent inquiry chaired by Sir Wyn Williams, which will report back later this year.
