Lucy Allan MP has backed a campaign by Guide Dogs UK to clear Telford’s pavements of unnecessary street clutter.
The MP attended a meeting at Parliament to discuss the issue and was even presented with a star on the charity’s walk of fame.
Lucy Allan MP said: "There are areas of Telford where people parking on pavements and other street clutter really causes a problem for blind people, as well as mothers pushing prams, and the elderly.
"I'm pleased to lend my support to the Guide Dogs UK campaign to reduce street clutter to make life easier for these groups.
"I attended their meeting and was even given a star on their 'walk of fame'. It's a privilege to help this cause and I'm going to work with Telford businesses and the council to help clear our pavements"
