If you live in Telford and your child in is Y6 or below, your child is eligible to take part in this competition.
How to take part
Encourage your child to design a Christmas card. An example is shown above. Take a photo of your child's design. Email the photo, together with your child's name, age and school they attend to email@example.com by Friday 21st November. Put 'Telford Christmas Card Competition' in the subject bar of your email. All entries will receive an acknowledgement.
If your child's entry is chosen as one of the top 5 they will be notified by 24th November and asked to submit the original, together with their name, address and age, by Friday 28th November to:

The winning entry will be printed and distributed to local groups, charties, and volunteers by Lucy Allan - full credit will be given to your child for the design. The top 5 entries will all receive a surprise Christmas present. The club, church group, scout pack, school of the winner (chosen by the winner) will receive £150 and the card will be sent to the Prime Minister for display.
We are also looking at other local display opportunities for your child's artwork in Telford.
